15th Annual “Laughing Waters” Bluegrass Festival – Labor Day

If you’re a staycationer or a devoted Minnehaha_Falls-2005-10-29bluegrass music lover, you needn’t go farther than Minnehaha Park to feel vacationed and ready to face whatever the rest of 2013 may bring.

The lineup is better than ever and goes like this:

1:00 p.m. – The Pride of the Prairie
1:50 p.m. – Copper Creek
2:40 p.m. – The Middle Spunk Creek Boys (your hosts for Laughing Waters)
3:30 p.m. – The Platte Valley Boys
4:20 p.m. – Sawtooth Bluegrass
5:20 p.m. – Laurie Lewis and the Right Hands (Thank You Jim Whitney)

It’s a delightful to enjoy the final days of summer before settling into the fall routines. There are food vendors on hand, KBEM and ‘Bluegrass Saturday Morning’ host, Phil Nusbaum are usually about and the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Association will be on hand to help you learn how bluegrass can be part of your life all year long. Stage and park facilities for the festival are provided by the Park and Recreation Board of the City of Minneapolis. We’re proud to be sponsors of the event and look forward to seeing you there. And did we mention it’s FREE!!!
